MAKE IT REAL
Ideas only matter when they become real.
We don't let ideas stay ideas. We give them shape, make them move, and ship them as products people can actually use.

Working across AI, software, hardware and design,we create products that change how people live and act.

Ideas only matter when they become real.
We don't let ideas stay ideas. We give them shape, make them move, and ship them as products people can actually use.

The right product rarely fits inside one discipline.
We aren't bound by the lines between software, hardware, AI and design. We combine whatever the work requires and build the whole product.

Reality is the fastest way to learn.
A working product delivered early beats a perfect plan. We learn from real users and real markets, and evolve fast.

The way things are is not the way they have to be.
We don't take existing methods or industry convention as the right answer. We question the premise, and build better experiences and new ways of working.

Take responsibility from idea to outcome.
Finishing your own piece isn't the job — the outcome is. From concept through development, manufacturing and operations, we see it through to where the value lands.

Build things that create meaningful change.
We don't build products to show off technology. We build products that make a real difference in people's lives.
HAPT Lab is not a company that builds technology for the sake of technology. We turn technology into products people can use, experience, and benefit from in their everyday lives.
An idea only begins to matter when it becomes real. That is why we do not stop at concepts or presentations. We build, test, ship, and put our work into the hands of real users. Then we learn from reality and continue improving.
Great products rarely come from a single discipline. They emerge at the intersection of AI, software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, and design. At HAPT Lab, we work across those boundaries and take ideas all the way from initial concept to a working product.
Our goal is not simply to create something technically new. We aim to build products that change behavior, improve everyday life, and eventually become part of how the world works.
We build what does not exist yet, but should.

Hideyuki Takei

Hardware & Software Engineer
Holds a master's degree from Toyohashi University of Technology, specializing in human-robot communication. Recipient of the 11th Human Interface Society Paper Award.
Joined KLab Inc. in 2009, where he developed numerous new businesses in the R&D division. After working as a BLE device engineer at Yukai Engineering Inc., he co-founded Beatrobo, Inc. in the United States and served as CTO.
His software work spans client-side development in iOS/Android and JavaScript through to AWS server-side development. He is equally at home in hardware, with experience in circuit design, industrial design in 3D CAD, and mass production at volumes in the hundreds of thousands.
Joined the AI startup studio All Turtles in 2018. In 2020 he moved to Tellus You Care, a company All Turtles supported, as Principal Hardware & Software Engineer. He currently serves as CEO of HAPT Lab, LLC.
